I love that I get to do newborn photography! Working with brand-new babies makes me smile constantly. I love seeing their tiny noses, lips, fingers, and toes. I love seeing new parents love on their baby. I love challenging myself with new poses and gently, safely, and carefully moving the baby into each pose. I love fine tuning the light until it is just where I want it. I love choosing props and prepping the studio. I even love the laughs that come from being pooped and peed on (if you’re not okay with that, you definitely should not be a newborn photographer😆). I loved hearing Mom say, “Oh my goodness! This makes me already want to have another one!” I loved that when we put her in the white potato pose, she looked like a little egg. In short, I love photographing newborns.
